Jancis Robinson goes Wild for our Nutty

Like a toasty, seedy, nutty cracker. Plenty of prickle and wire …
it reminds me of those wonderful hand-carved, wooden marionette puppets,
dancing in the hands of a master puppeteer. Arrestingly savoury.
A brilliant lower-alcohol option for sparkling wine; you would not notice the lower alcohol
and it would be perfect for afternoon canapés, or lunch, quite frankly,
if you’re like me and grew up in southern Africa where the rule was that
you could have a drink as long as the single Boeing had flown over at 11:30am.
It’s so distinctive and different. I applaud Nutbourne for this wine!”
It was rated 16.5 out of 20, which on the the Jancis Robinson scale,
sits between distinguished and superior. We’ll take that!
About Nutty Wild NV
A sparkling wine made by classic bottle fermentation from 100% Pinot Noir.
This is a light joyous drink with a hint of strawberries and raspberries,
delicate and tangy with a soft blush tint.
Grown and produced on the Nutbourne Estate, it is fermented to just 10% alcohol,
with minimal dosage and intervention.
Nutty Wild is for quaffing with friends and pairs well with summer berries or light barbecued dishes.
